KAYLEIGH FORSTER

Recruitment Co-ordinator

Kayleigh is the Recruitment Co-ordinator for LAT Apprenticeships. She has previously worked as a Senior Co-ordinator for the NHS and has a wealth of experience in supporting peoples’ needs throughout their journey. With this experience, Kayleigh is here to match suitable candidates to an employer and will help through the interview process ensuring that candidates are interview ready. 

 

Outside of work Kayleigh is a self-employed singer, dancer and musical theatre tutor. She enjoys helping people reach their full potential and performing with the vintage trio that she is part of.

BEVERLEY NEAVE

Assessor / Skills Coach & Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead

Bev joined LAT Apprenticeships in May 2022 after working as an End-Point Assessor for 4 years, this has provided her with a wealth of understanding of various Apprenticeship Standards.  Bev has joined the team to impart her expertise in teaching and to assess and support our teaching assistant Apprentices, she also brings extensive knowledge and experiences gained from various training providers and awarding bodies as an Assessor/ IQA/EQA.

 

In her spare time she enjoys watching live bands, walking her dogs, and playing badminton.

JAY WRIGHT

Director of Apprenticeships (Engineering)

Jay started his role as Director of Apprenticeships at The Leigh UTC in September 2018. Jay is responsible for the management of the Engineering apprenticeship programme, as well as being both a tutor and assessor. He graduated from the University of Southampton in 2008, and started work as a workshop technician. He then qualified as a teacher in 2012. He became an Internal Verifier for Engineering courses in 2013. He moved to Greenwich UTC in 2014 to become Head of Engineering and Construction, and then moved on to his current role which he has now been doing for 6 years.

HIMANSHU JADAV

Assessor

Himanshu joined LAT in July 2020 as an assessor for engineering. He is a qualified Engineer,Teacher, IQA and EQA. He is also working with Pearson as an EQA for WBL engineering apprenticeships. He has more than 20 years of experience together in the education and engineering industry. 

 

He has been awarded an outstanding engineering lecturer/assessor in 2012, his paper was published on the use of the internet and CAD/CAM in Diamond cutting in the international journal. He enjoys working with young engineers and developing their skills to match the current industry standards. He is enthusiastic about learning new skills and keeping up to date with current engineering technology.

 

Outside of work he enjoys reading engineering journals and books and playing cricket during his leisure time.

YVETTE CLEGG

Assessor / IQA / Curriculum

Yvette joined LAT Apprenticeships in February 2022 to give her support and guidance to the Teaching Assistant Apprentices throughout LAT Apprenticeships. Over many years Yvette has worked for numerous training providers in a Quality / IQA role and enjoys working within schools, nurseries and colleges. She now continues her career from the North of England with us supporting to build the Teaching Assistant Curriculum to support the growing team of Assessors.

 

Yvette enjoys being with her family and dogs and enjoys holidays abroad.

SUBHASH RAWAL

Engineering IQA

Subhash is a practical and versatile engineer with extensive experience in work-based learning. His professional history includes a variety of technical positions in industry and academic institutes. He specialises in Quality Assurance of Engineering Apprenticeships.
